2030 Consumer Agenda
On this page
Summary
The 2030 Consumer Agenda addresses access to the Single Market, protection in digital markets and more effective enforcement of consumer rights. Its measures cover cross-border services, financial literacy, digital identity, roaming and travel. A proposed Digital Fairness Act and action on online fraud would tackle harmful commercial practices, with particular attention to minors. The agenda also supports product durability, repair and the green transition. Stronger cooperation between consumer authorities, customs and market-surveillance bodies, together with updated product rules and digital investigation tools, is intended to improve compliance and product safety, including for imports sold online.
